I love the original chile relleno's but this is so much quicker to make. Ingredients:
2 (7 ounce) cans whole green chilies |
8 ounces cheddar cheese |
10 eggs, slightly beaten |
8 ounces monterey jack cheese |
1 1/2 cups milk |
2 tablespoons flour |
Directions:
1. In a 9x13 baking dish layer chiles and jack cheese. Mix together eggs, milk, and flour. Pour over chiles. Top w/cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until puffed and brown. Serve with salsa if desired. |
